As an Account Executive at Ruleset Security, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique cybersecurity, compliance, and cloud needs and propose tailored solutions that align with their business objectives. Your role will also involve nurturing existing relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Proactively prospect, identify, and secure new clients.

  • Solution Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of Ruleset Security’s Cyber, Compliance, and Cloud services, effectively communicating the value of our solutions in client meetings and presentations.

  • Consultative Selling: Use a consultative approach to understand client pain points and business objectives, proposing tailored security and compliance solutions that meet their unique needs.

  • Sales Cycle Management: Own the sales process from initial outreach to negotiation and closing. Ensure smooth transitions for clients by working closely with internal delivery teams.

  • Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain an active sales pipeline, record all client interactions in the CRM, and provide accurate sales forecasts and activity reports.

  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Partner with technical, engineering, and compliance teams to design solutions that align with client needs and ensure successful project delivery.

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact during the sales process. Foster long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.

job qualifications:

  • associate’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive or in a similar sales role, ideally within cybersecurity, compliance, or cloud services.

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the cybersecurity, compliance, or IT services industry.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to understand client needs and propose solutions that deliver value.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with cloud services, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks is a plus.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
